About Julie(fy)
"What's going on in that head of yours?" If I had a penny for every time someone asked me that or a similar question, I would be living on my own little island in the Pacific slurping cocktails right now. I mean who can blame them for being caught off guard by yet another one of my creative outbursts? But you know sometimes you need to let your imagination run wild to add some much-needed spice to your storytelling.
I was born and raised in Luxembourg, but I spent about 1/5 of my life on the other side of the world, i.e., in Seoul, South Korea. And boy oh boy, immersing myself in another culture enriched my perspective on the world and its humans in more ways than one. That experience is definitely on the long list of things I draw inspiration from. After getting my bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication with a double major in International Studies from Korea University, I moved to Lisbon, Portugal to take my studies to the next level. I completed my master’s degree in Information Management, with a specialization in Marketing Intelligence, at NOVA Information Management School in October 2022. Now, I’m back in my home country and ready to take on the online marketing world.
Other things you should know about me:
I speak 5 1/2 languages (Luxembourgish, German, French, English, Korean and I am still working on those Portuguese skills).
I am fascinated by all the opportunities social media provides to engage with your audience.
My favorite physical activity is dancing around my room to some fine pop tunes.
I have sprained my toe before while engaging in the aforementioned activity.
I believe that R2-D2 is not only the best droid in Star Wars but also the best character in the franchise.
But I'm guessing you're here to learn more about my work experience and to have a look at my skillset in action. Well, you can check out my portfolio to get an idea of my writing style. And if you like what you see - or read to be precise - and you want to work with me, just shoot me a message here! Or head on over to my social media accounts because there are lots of pretty pictures (and some useful information, too).
